Party, Party, Party!
Sometimes there’s nothing better than a party destination, drenched in sun, especially when at home you’re working hard, with no play time. In that case, letting your hair down in a beautiful destination, topping up your tan in the day, and letting go of all your cares of an evening, could be just the ticket.
For a holiday like this, the key is to save money wherever possible, so you have more to spend once you’re out there. Other than the overall cost of your holiday, you can save money on your airport extras, such as getting to the airport, which will mount up overall. I always drive myself to the airport and park up, as this is often cheaper for me than public transport, and much less stressful. You’re supposed to be kicking back and saying goodbye to your cares – turning up stressed out isn’t the way to begin! I recently booked Gatwick airport parking with BCP for such a holiday, and couldn’t fault it at all. The level of service was fantastic, and the price even better. This is a nationwide service, so check out what’s available at your airport.
If your holiday involves an early flight, or even long distances, then staying at the airport the night before could be the way to go. Again, airport hotels are nationwide, with a range to suit every budget.
So, you’ve sorted out how to save yourself some hard earned dosh, but where are the best destinations for your party break? Most popular summer resorts will have a section dedicated to party time, usually called Bar Street or something very similar, however some destinations are totally geared up for night-time partying and day-time resting. Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is such a destination, and the added bonus is that it’s quite cheap too, so this could be a fantastic bargain break for those who are watching the pennies. Alternatively, there is of course the clubbing Mecca of Ibiza, or Ayia Napa in Cyprus. Magaluf is closer to home, again with many cheap flights over to Majorca throughout the summer, or even Gumbet and Marmaris in Turkey, where you’ll find serious bargains this year.
The good thing about the Turkish choices is that you’ll be able to escape the madness to a quieter part of the resort if you do fancy a rest!
If you like the idea of going further afield, then how about Thailand, with its bright and varied night-life, or even let yourself completely go in Las Vegas, for something completely different and extremely neon-lit!
Wherever you choose, stock up on your sleep before you fly, and that way you’ll be more than raring to go.
